What To Expect

Five days that change the term.

This isn’t catch-up. It’s a deliberate, forward-looking week — covering exactly what your child needs to walk into September confident and ready.

01
Real curriculum alignment

Each day targets the exact topics students will meet in their first half-term — algebra, geometry, ratio, statistics and exam technique. Mapped to the curriculum, not generic practice.

02
Small groups. Real attention.

Maximum five students per group. Small enough for Mr Brown to know every student’s gaps by day two. KS3 and GCSE groups run separately so teaching is always pitched exactly right.

03
Daily parent updates

A short written summary after every session — what was covered, how your child engaged, what to watch. No surprises. Full transparency throughout the week.

04
Mornings only — focused and free

Two focused hours — 9:30 to 11:30. Enough time to make serious progress without burning out. Summer shouldn’t feel like school. Afternoons stay yours.

05
Confidence first, always

Mr Brown’s teaching goes beyond content. By Friday, students don’t just know more maths — they feel differently about it. That shift is what makes the whole year better.

06
Friday mini-mock + progress report

A timed mini-mock on Friday with individual feedback, plus a written progress report for parents — a useful reference as the new term begins.

Stepping up to secondary school?

A dedicated group for students finishing Year 6 and starting secondary school in September. We bridge the leap from primary maths to KS3 — number fluency, the basics of algebra, ratio & proportion, and the problem-solving habits Year 7 teachers will be looking for. Taught at the right pace, in a calm, age-appropriate small group — runs on both waves, so you can pick whichever fits your family’s summer.
